DC Udhampur reviews formulation of capex budget 2026–27

UDHAMPUR, APRIL 7: Deputy Commissioner Udhampur Minga Sherpa Tuesday convened a meeting of officers from the line departments to review formulation of the District Capex Budget 2026–27 and assess progress of ongoing developmental works being executed under SASCI, Tribal Welfare, DA-JGUA, UT Capex and other schemes.

The meeting, as per an official statement, was attended by Chief Planning Officer Uttam Singh, Assistant Commissioner Development, Om Parkash and other district officers.

The Deputy Commissioner took a detailed block-wise review of the physical and financial status of works under the Annual Development Plan ADP, covering ongoing projects and the status of plan submissions.

The DC directed the departments to finalize plans after due consultation with elected representatives. He further instructed to include need based and feasible works.

Emphasizing accountability and quality in developmental works, the DC called for strict adherence to timelines and quality standards.
