The workshop, as per an official statement, was held under the close supervision of Deputy Commissioner Rajesh Sharma, who is also the Principal Census Officer.

The training programme, held from April 7 to April 9, 2026, was organised as part of capacity-building measures for the forthcoming Census operations, in accordance with the guidelines issued by the Registrar General & Census Commissioner, India.

Addressing the participants, the Deputy Commissioner appreciated the active participation of the trainees and underscored the critical role of trained manpower in ensuring smooth, accurate and error-free Census operations.
