SRINAGAR, APRIL 13: Minister for Agriculture Production, Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Javid Ahmad Dar on Monday extended warm greetings to the people on the auspicious occasions of Baisakhi, Foundation Day of Khalsa Panth and birth anniversary of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar being observed on April 14.

In his message, the Minister, as per an official statement, highlighted that these occasions symbolize unity, cultural heritage and social justice. He said that Baisakhi marks the solar New Year and the harvest season, reflecting joy, prosperity and gratitude towards the hardworking farmers who form the backbone of nation’s economy.

Javid Dar emphasized the historic significance of the Foundation Day of Khalsa Panth, saying that it represents courage, sacrifice and commitment to righteousness. He extended his best wishes to the Sikh community and prayed for peace, harmony and prosperity for all.

Paying rich tributes to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, the Minister remarked that his pioneering role in framing the Constitution of India continues to inspire the generations. He lauded his relentless efforts towards promoting social justice, equality and education, describing him as a guiding force for building an inclusive and progressive society.

The Minister expressed hope that these significant occasions will further strengthen the bond of unity and inspire the people to work collectively for the welfare and development of society.
