Jammu, Apr 15: Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo on Wednesday released two scholarly works titled “Heal Wounds” and “The Science of Cloud Bursts” at a function held here.

Authored by Prof. Manoj Nazir, Dr. Jyotsana Maurya, Ridhima Kaul, and Dr. Poonam Mehrotra, the publications underscore a unique blend of traditional knowledge and modern scientific research. The books are expected to serve as valuable resources for researchers, academicians, and the general public.

“Heal Wounds” explores the therapeutic potential of Rudraksha, examining its traditional significance alongside possible health benefits. “The Science of Cloud Bursts” presents a comprehensive scientific analysis of cloudburst phenomena, including their causes, impacts, and possible mitigation strategies.

The authors, collectively, have made significant contributions in their respective fields, with several books and research publications to their credit.
