SRINAGAR, APRIL 17: In a significant step towards promoting a drug-free society under the Nasha Mukt J&K campaign, a cyclothon was flagged off by the District Youth Services and Sports Officer (DYSSO) Srinagar, Gh Hassan Lone from SKICC.

The event, as per an official statement, witnessed enthusiastic participation of over 300 students, parents, and other stakeholders, reflecting a strong community commitment towards eradicating the menace of drug abuse.

Speaking on the occasion, Gh Hassan Lone highlighted the importance of collective efforts in making the Nasha Mukt Abhiyan a success. He emphasized the need for awareness, especially among the youth, and urged participants to act as ambassadors in spreading the message of a drug-free society.

The cyclothon culminated at Nishat Garden, Srinagar, where awards were distributed among the participating students in recognition of their active involvement and commitment to the cause.

The event concluded with a renewed pledge among participants to work collectively towards building a healthier and drug-free society.
