Training of Field Trainers underway

SRINAGAR, APRIL 29: Preparations for the forthcoming Census in Urban Srinagar have gained significant momentum, with the administration intensifying efforts to ensure the smooth and efficient conduct of the nationwide exercise.

The Principal Census Officer Urban Srinagar/Commissioner Srinagar Municipal Corporation, Faz Lul Haseeb, directed to intensify preparedness and the arrangements being put in place for the successful implementation of the Census operations.

As part of the preparatory phase, training sessions, as per an official statement, for Field Trainers are currently underway. The program is designed to equip the trainers with the necessary knowledge, technical understanding, and operational guidelines required for effectively conducting the Census process at the grassroots level.

Officials associated with the exercise informed that the training focuses on familiarizing the Field Trainers with census procedures, enumeration protocols, data collection methodologies, and the use of prescribed formats and digital tools to ensure accuracy, reliability, and uniformity in the data collection process.

Authorities further stated that preparations are in full swing, with administrative and logistical arrangements being strengthened to facilitate the seamless execution of the Census across the urban areas of Srinagar.

The ongoing training programme is expected to play a crucial role in capacity building of field functionaries, ensuring that the census operations are carried out in a systematic, transparent, and efficient manner in line with the established guidelines.
