Anantnag, May 19: In view of the upcoming Eid-ul-Adha celebrations, the Food Safety Department Anantnag Tuesday conducted intensified inspections of food establishments across various markets of the district to ensure the availability of safe and wholesome food for consumers.

Samples of various food items were also procured during the drive for comprehensive analysis to assess their quality and safety standards.

Meanwhile, 32 cases of ice cream with labelling violations were seized from M/S S.S. Enterprises, Laizbal K.P. Road, Anantnag during the inspection process.
