SRINAGAR, MAY 25: Additional Commissioner Kashmir, Akramullah Tak, on Monday reviewed the arrangements being put in place for the arrival of Hujjaj, scheduled to commence from June 2 at Srinagar Airport.
During the meeting, a detailed review was conducted regarding the reception of pilgrims by dignitaries upon their arrival, issuance of passes to officers, deployment of adequate manpower for unloading and sorting of luggage, smooth movement of pilgrims and attendants, parking facilities for attendants, and distribution of ZamZam water.
The Additional Commissioner stressed the need for close coordination among all concerned agencies, including the Airlines, Airport Authority, CISF, BCAS, Air Force, and CRPF, to ensure smooth, efficient, and hassle-free Hajj arrival operations at Srinagar Airport.
He directed the concerned departments and agencies to extend full cooperation and provide all necessary assistance for the convenience and comfort of the returning pilgrims.
The meeting was attended by ADC Srinagar, ADC Budgam, officers of Airport Authority, Police, Health, R&B and Hajj Officer.
