Visits Kulgam, appeals for public cooperation
KULGAM, JUNE 03: Chief Principal Census Officer (CPCO) and Director Census Operations (DCO), Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, Amit Sharma, on Wednesday visited Kulgam and chaired a meeting with the officers at the Conference Hall of the Mini Secretariat, Kulgam.
The meeting, as per an official statement, was attended by Principal Census Officer Kulgam, Shahzad Alam, District Census Officer, Charge Officers, Enumerators, and Supervisors.
The meeting focused on the ongoing preparations for the Census and the implementation of the first phase of the House Listing Operation (HLO), being conducted from June 1 to June 30.
During the meeting, the CPCO reviewed the arrangements made by the district administration and emphasized the importance of accurate data collection and effective coordination among field staff.
Addressing the participants, Amit Sharma highlighted the significance of the Census exercise and urged Enumerators and Supervisors to discharge their duties with dedication and professionalism to ensure the successful completion of the House Listing Operation.
Various aspects related to census operations, field-level coordination, and public cooperation were also discussed.
