KUPWARA, JUNE 10: District Development Commissioner (DDC) Kupwara, Shrikant Suse, Wednesday visited Nutnussa Block and chaired the Block Diwas programme at Panchayat Ghar Nutnussa-B.
The Block Diwas witnessed active participation from officers of the district administration, public representatives, and a large number of local residents. The programme provided a platform for direct interaction between the administration and the public, enabling people to raise their grievances, concerns, and developmental issues.
During the event, the DDC listened patiently to the issues projected by the participants and assured them of timely redressal of genuine grievances. He emphasized the administration’s commitment to ensuring efficient public service delivery and addressing the developmental aspirations of the people.
Various issues related to basic amenities, infrastructure development, public services, and welfare schemes were highlighted by the participants. The concerned officers were directed to take prompt action on the issues raised and ensure their resolution within a stipulated timeframe.
The DDC also reviewed the implementation of ongoing developmental programmes and government schemes in the block and stressed the need for greater public outreach and effective execution of welfare initiatives for the benefit of the people.
Among others, Additional Deputy Commissioner Handwara, Javed Naseem Masoodi, Chief Planning Officer, Chief Education Officer, and other district and block level officers attended the block diwas programme.
