Srinagar, Jun 25: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo have expressed deep grief over the untimely passing of Romin Ahmad, an officer of the Jammu Kashmir Administrative Service (JKAS) who was serving as Joint Director, Handloom, Kashmir.
In a condolence message, the Lieutenant Governor said: “Grieved by the untimely demise of Shri Romin Ahmad. As a dedicated officer, he served the people of Jammu Kashmir with dedication and commitment. I extend my heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family in this difficult hour. May the Almighty grant eternal peace to the departed soul.”
Chief Minister Omar Abdullah described the passing of the officer as a significant loss to the administration, extending his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, friends, and colleagues in this hour of grief. He prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul and for strength and fortitude to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss.
Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo, in his condolence message, described the officer as a dedicated, sincere and committed officer who served the people and the administration with professionalism and diligence throughout his distinguished career. “His sudden passing is an irreparable loss to the Jammu and Kashmir administration and to all those who had the privilege of working with him,” he said.
Dulloo conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, relatives and friends of the departed officer during this difficult hour. He prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul and for strength and fortitude to the family to bear this immense loss.
