Conducts Virtual Inspection of Schools in Anantnag
SRINAGAR, JUNE 27: Director School Education Kashmir (SEK), Naseer Ahmad Wani, continued his ongoing online academic and administrative monitoring by conducting a surprise virtual inspection of Government Middle School Doru in District Anantnag through the Zonal Education Officer (ZEO), Doru, Naseer-ul-Haq.
During the inspection, the Director, as per an official statement, interacted with members of the teaching faculty as well as students and took a comprehensive review of the academic and co-curricular activities being carried out in the institution. He closely observed the teaching-learning process and assessed the performance of both teachers and students.
While interacting with students, the Director emphasized the importance of quality education and advised teachers to demonstrate greater dedication and commitment towards achieving academic excellence. He also issued necessary instructions to improve classroom engagement and learning outcomes.
The Director directed the concerned ZEO to take immediate corrective measures to ensure optimal teaching standards and further instructed him to submit a detailed report regarding staff strength and student particulars. He also stressed the need for conducting regular inspections of all schools within the jurisdiction and maintaining continuous academic monitoring.
In addition, the Director held a virtual interaction with the Chief Education Officer (CEO), Srinagar, Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din Bhat, to review the ongoing monitoring of schools by various Zonal Education Officers. During the interaction, the Director sought updates on inspection activities and emphasized accountability at all levels.
The Director made it clear that explanations shall be sought from defaulting ZEOs who fail to conduct regular inspections and ensure proper academic supervision. He further instructed the CEO Srinagar to convene a virtual meeting with all ZEOs to strengthen the monitoring framework and ensure effective implementation of academic policies.
