Ladakh, Jul 03: The 2-day career seminar organised by Career Defence School (CDS) at Leh and Kargil concluded on Friday.
In a statement, organisers said the event provided a roadmap to students from the Union Territory of Ladakh to pursue admissions to premier institutions such as IITs and the NDA.
It said the seminar witnessed participation from a large number of students and focused on creating awareness about competitive examinations, career planning and opportunities in higher education.
The programme was led by Career Defence School founder and CEO Er. Vinay Rai along with Administrative Officer Er. Gagan Wadhwa. It was coordinated by Khan Jahangeer and Amir Suhail.
The seminar was also attended by ADC to the Lieutenant Governor, Shiekh Adil, District Planning Officer, DIET Principal, S D Namgail and DIET Head of Department, Anchay Yagdol.
Addressing the students, Sheikh Adil encouraged them to remain determined despite setbacks and stressed the importance of confidence, communication skills and consistency in achieving success in competitive examinations.
Similarly, the Kargil session was attended by Private Schools Association President Murtaza Ali Khaleli and In charge Chief Education Officer Dr. Sarwar Shahzad (KAS).
Khaleli urged students to adopt discipline, hard work and moral values while focusing on education and constructive goals.
Speaking on the occasion, CEO Er. Vinay Rai said students from Leh and Kargil have immense potential and need proper guidance, discipline and exposure to excel at the national level.
He said Career Defence School is committed to preparing students for examinations such as JEE Main, NEET, RIMC and NDA while also promoting personality development, leadership and nation building.
Students also participated in interactive sessions and sought guidance on NDA eligibility, IIT entrance preparation, scholarships, hostel facilities, physical fitness requirements and the growing role of artificial intelligence in career planning—(KNO)
