Jammu, Jul 13: General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the White Knight Corps, Lt Gen P K Mishra, on Monday visited forward military formations in Rajouri district and reviewed the security situation and operational preparedness.
Lt Gen Mishra visited the headquarters of the Ace of Spades Division and the Counter-Insurgency Force (CIF) Romeo, where senior officers briefed him on the prevailing security scenario and measures being taken to enhance operational capabilities.
The Corps Commander was apprised of developments related to surveillance systems, precision strike capabilities and initiatives aimed at improving preparedness for emerging security challenges and future warfare.
During the visit, Lt Gen Mishra also interacted with troops deployed in the area and lauded them for maintaining a high level of professionalism and operational readiness.
He commended all ranks for their vigilance, operational efficiency and sustained efforts in ensuring peace and stability in the region, the officials said.
