Information Department’s newly Posted Officers assume Office at JDI Kashmir

Shabir Ahmad Bhat assumes charge as FPO; Parvaiz Ahmad Lone takes over as Youth Information Officer

SRINAGAR, JULY 18: Following the recent reshuffle in the Information Department, Shabir Ahmad Bhat on Saturday, assumed charge as Field Publicity Officer (FPO), Kashmir, while Parvaiz Ahmad Lone assumed charge as Youth Information Officer, Kashmir, at the Joint Directorate of Information, Kashmir.

Joint Director Information Kashmir, Syed Shahnawaz Bukhari, Deputy Director Information Headquarter Kashmir,  Deputy Director, PR,  Cultural Officer, Kashmir and other officials of the department welcomed both the officers on assuming their new assignments.

Soon after assuming charge, the newly appointed officers held an introductory meeting with the officials of their respective wings. They interacted with the staff and reviewed the functioning of the offices, besides taking stock of the ongoing activities and outreach initiatives.

Calling for a collaborative and result-oriented work culture, the officers urged the officials to work with renewed commitment and a sense of responsibility to further strengthen the department’s outreach across Kashmir.

The officers assured the officials of their full support and cooperation in the efficient discharge of their responsibilities and stressed the importance of close coordination to strengthen the department’s outreach across Kashmir.
