BUDGAM, JULY 28 Minister for Health and Medical Education, Social Welfare and Education, Sakeena Itoo Tuesday visited the residence of Martyr Head Constable Ashiq Hussain Qureshi at Lalpora, Beerwah to express solidarity with the bereaved family following his supreme sacrifice in the line of duty during the recent terror attack in Anantnag.
The Minister, as per an official statement, was accompanied by MLA Beerwah, Dr Shafi Ahmad Wani, MLA Khansahib, Saif-ud-Din Bhat, and MLA Tangmarg, Farooq Ahmad Shah and other concerned officers.
The Minister offered heartfelt condolences to the family and paid rich tributes to the martyred constable.
Interacting with the family members, the Minister conveyed that the Government stands firmly beside them during this difficult time. She assured them that every possible assistance and welfare support will be extended to ensure the family’s well-being and dignity.
The family members expressed their gratitude to the Minister for visiting them and for conveying the government’s support and solidarity in their hour of grief.
