Bear mauls two in Bandipora

Bandipora, Jul 30: Two persons were injured in a bear attack in the Ketson area of Aloosa in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Thursday, officials said.

An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the incident took place in the Ketson area when a bear attacked the two individuals, leaving them injured.

He said the injured were immediately shifted to a nearby medical facility for treatment. Their identities and the nature of their injuries were not immediately known.

Meanwhile, officials said further details are awaited and an investigation has been taken up. (KNO)
