SHOPIAN, AUGUST 13: District Administration Shopian, in collaboration with the Department of Information & Public Relations (DIPR), Shopian and Municipal Council Shopian, has deployed audio-equipped vehicles to play patriotic songs across markets and localities of the district.
The vehicles, as per an official statement, were flagged off by ADC Shopian, Dr. Zakir Hussain Faaz, marking another initiative to carry the message of patriotism, unity and national pride to every corner of the district.
On the occasion, ACR Shopian, DIO Shopian and other officers were present.
The initiative aims to create a vibrant patriotic atmosphere across Shopian’s markets, towns and villages, encouraging citizens to actively participate in the celebrations and uphold the spirit of national unity.
The playing of patriotic songs through the audio-equipped vehicles will continue across different parts of the district, adding to the festive fervour surrounding the Independence Day celebrations and Har Ghar Tiranga campaign.
