During the meeting, a detailed review, as per an official statement, of all major parameters under Mission YUVA was undertaken, including progress achieved in respect of application processing, sanction, disbursement, training and other key indicators.

The Deputy Commissioner expressed satisfaction over the progress achieved in the sanction and disbursement of Mission YUVA cases. Detailed deliberations were held with the Cluster Heads regarding pending cases and they were directed to closely monitor the pendency and ensure disposal of all pending cases in a time-bound manner, in coordination with the concerned banking institutions.

The District Programme Manager, NRLM, was directed to intensify efforts towards increasing the participation of Lakhpati Didis and facilitating their conversion into viable entrepreneurial beneficiaries under Mission YUVA, particularly through the Udyam Jagriti 5.0 campaign.

Emphasis was laid on greater mobilisation, handholding and convergence between NRLM and Mission YUVA for achieving the desired outcomes.

The DC also directed all Principals of Government Degree Colleges, Government Polytechnic College and Superintendents of Government ITIs to ensure effective and smooth implementation of the Udyam Jagriti 5.0 campaign, scheduled to commence from 17th August, with active participation of students and prospective entrepreneurs.

The Employment Department and Mission YUVA functionaries were directed to intensify their efforts and improve overall performance across all parameters, with particular focus on indicators where progress remains comparatively low. The concerned officers were asked to undertake regular monitoring and coordinated follow-up to ensure that the targets are achieved within the stipulated timelines.

The Deputy Commissioner stressed upon all stakeholders to work in close coordination and adopt a result-oriented approach for strengthening the entrepreneurial ecosystem in the district and ensuring effective implementation of Mission YUVA at the grassroots level.

The meeting concluded with directions for continuous monitoring of progress and timely submission of updated status on the identified parameters.
