ANANTNAG, AUGUST 12: As part of the ongoing Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign, a Mega Tiranga Rally was held Wednesday in Anantnag in a smooth and seamless manner.
Organised by District Administration, the rally, as per an official statement, was jointly led by Deputy Commissioner (DC), Dr. Bilal Mohiuddin Bhat, DIG SKR, Javid Iqbal Matoo and SSP, Ashok Amod Nagpure. Senior officer including ADCs, SEs, ACR, ACD, ExEns, as well as district and sectoral heads besides officials from various departments, volunteers, member from Self-Help Groups (SHGs), and citizens from all cross-sections of society, participated with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor.
Addressing the participants, the DC said that the district has actively embraced the Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign and urged everyone to continue the scheduled activities with the same spirit and passion. He noted that the overwhelming participation in the rally made it a vibrant and inclusive show of patriotism and national unity.
Witnessing enthusiastic participation of thousands of citizens from diverse walks of life, the rally commenced at Sports Stadium and culminated at Lal Chowk, Anantnag. The colorful and grand event showcased a spirited commitment to unity, patriotism, and collective resolve in honor of the nation.
As the grand procession passed through Mehdi Kadal and along the main road toward Lal Chowk, participants marched with immense pride and passion, holding the Tricolour high to reflect resilience and shared joy.
Throughout the rally, songs honoring freedom fighters and celebrating patriotic themes filled the streets, creating a lively and festive ambience befitting to the dignity of National Flag. The presence of thousands of participants, including officials and local residents, created an incredible spectacle as the rally progressed.
