No question of GN Azad returning to Congress: Salman Nizami
Share on FacebookShare on TwitterWhatsapp

Srinagar, Aug 31: Rejecting rumours of Ghulam Nabi Azad’s return to the Congress, his close associate Salman Nizami on Monday said the former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister had “categorically denied” any such possibility.

Nizami said Congress’ leadership failed to recognise the contribution and stature of Ghulam Nabi Azad and repeatedly humiliated a leader who dedicated decades of his life to the party.

”The same people who failed to value and respect him are now spreading rumours about his return to Congress which is not true. He has repeatedly and categorically denied any such possibility,” Nizami said.

He added that Azad has moved ahead with dignity and has no reason to return to a party that failed to respect his contribution and leadership—(KNO)
