The formal inauguration of the course was held at the NSD Srinagar Centre on Thursday.

The programme was attended by the Registrar, National School of Drama; Dean (Academics), National School of Drama; and the Centre In-charge of the Srinagar Centre.

The dignitaries formally inaugurated the course and extended their best wishes to the participants, expressing hope that the programme would provide a meaningful and enriching learning experience in the field of theatre.

The three-month course is designed to offer participants exposure to different dimensions of theatre, combining theoretical understanding with practical training.

The programme seeks to nurture artistic talent and strengthen theatre education by creating opportunities for young learners and theatre enthusiasts to engage with the performing arts.

The commencement of the course marks another step towards strengthening theatre education and training through NSD’s regional centres and expanding access to quality theatre learning opportunities for aspiring practitioners in the region.
