Man found dead at home

Reasi, Oct 05: A 28-year-old man was found dead at his residence in the Kun Kanyalan area of Katra in Reasi district on Monday, officials said.

An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the man was found unconscious at his residence in Katra during the early hours.

He said that soon after receiving the information, a police team reached the spot, took the body into custody and shifted it to the Community Health Centre (CHC) Katra for further proceedings, where he was declared dead on arrival.

The deceased was identified as Tarun Verma (28), a resident of Kanyalan in Katra tehsil.

Meanwhile, cognizance has been taken up and an investigation has begun. (KNO)
