SRINAGAR, JUNE 18: In connection with the 100-Day Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan (NMBA) and under the directions of District Ayush Officer Srinagar, Dr. Mushtaq Ahmad Payer, a Mega Yoga Session was organized at the Government Floriculture Garden Shalimar.
During the event, an awareness lecture on drug addiction and its harmful effects was delivered by Dr. Nusrat Kawoosa, Medical Officer. Another informative lecture was delivered by Mohammad Younis, Yoga Instructor and De-Addiction expert, highlighting the role of Yoga and a healthy lifestyle in preventing substance abuse and promoting mental well-being.
The programme was conducted with the active participation and support of Dr. Masrat Pandith, along with Yoga Instructors of District Srinagar.
A large number of students and members of the public participated enthusiastically in the yoga session and benefited from the awareness lectures. The participants actively performed various yoga practices and appreciated the initiative aimed at promoting a drug-free society and healthy living.
