SWD Srinagar organizes Vocational Training Programme

SRINAGAR, FEBRUARY 24: Social Welfare Department (SWD), Srinagar, through SANKALP–Hub for Empowerment of Women (Mission Shakti), successfully organized Vocational Training Programme at Srinagar Women’s College Batpora.

The program, as per an official statement, aimed to equip students with essential knowledge and career insights to help them make informed academic and professional decisions.The training session witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across various departments. The program focused on emerging career opportunities, skill development pathways, entrepreneurship prospects, and industry expectations in today’s competitive job market.

The Resource Persons from the Department of District Industries and Commerce and Government Women Polytechnic College Bemina shared valuable insights on career planning, industry readiness, and the importance of aligning skills with market demand.

 The speakers emphasized aligning personal interests and strengths with suitable career paths to achieve long-term success and the importance of soft skills in today’s competitive environment.
