Srinagar, May 05: Two persons have died while two others remain missing after a vehicle they were travelling in was found in a nallah near Chhattapani along the Mughal Road, officials said on Tuesday.

Officials told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that four persons went missing on Monday while travelling on the Mughal Road following snowfall that made the road slippery, triggering a search and rescue operation.

During the operation on Tuesday, the vehicle was traced in a nallah at Chhattapani. Two bodies were recovered from the spot, while efforts are underway to trace the remaining two missing persons.

Officials said identification of the deceased is being ascertained and further investigation is underway. (KNO)
