The members discussed the verification of cases, medical documentation, eligibility of beneficiaries and other prescribed requirements under the scheme.

The Deputy Commissioner directed the concerned officers to ensure thorough verification of all cases, timely completion of formalities and strict adherence to the prescribed guidelines, so that eligible beneficiaries receive assistance without unnecessary delay.

The Committee also emphasized close coordination among the concerned departments for verification and processing of the cases and directed the officers to submit the requisite reports/documents within the stipulated time frame.
