Drass, Oct 27: District Police Drass on Tuesday issued a public advisory announcing restrictions on vehicular movement along the Zojila Axis from October 28 to 30 due to scheduled maintenance work and blasting operations.

According to the advisory, all types of vehicles will be restricted from travelling on the Zojila Axis between 4 PM and 8 AM the following day during the specified period.

Police have advised motorists and travellers not to proceed towards the Zojila Axis during the restricted hours to avoid inconvenience and ensure public safety.

The advisory further urged commuters to cooperate with the authorities for the smooth execution of maintenance and blasting operations.

Police said the restrictions are necessary to ensure the safety of travellers and facilitate the smooth conduct of work on the strategically important route—(KNO)
