KUPWARA, NOVEMBER 04: MY Bharat Kupwara successfully organised the Viksit Bharat Youth Parliament (VBYP) 2027 at Government Degree College (GDC), Kupwara, on the theme “One Nation, One Election,” providing an effective platform for young participants to express their views and engage in constructive parliamentary discussions.
The programme, as per an official statement, was graced by the Vice Principal of Government Degree College, Kupwara, as the Chief Guest, while the District Youth Officer (DYO), Kupwara, was also present on the occasion.
The initiative aimed at promoting democratic values, fostering leadership qualities, enhancing public awareness and encouraging active youth participation in the nation-building process. During the programme, participants shared their perspectives on the theme, demonstrating their understanding of democratic processes and the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047.
The Viksit Bharat Youth Parliament is being organised at District-Level, State-Level and National-Level rounds. The top-performing participants at the district level will qualify for the State-Level round, followed by the National-Level round, which will be held at the Parliament of India, New Delhi.
The programme reaffirmed MY Bharat Kupwara’s commitment to empowering youth, nurturing future leaders and providing meaningful opportunities for their active participation in democratic processes and nation-building initiatives.
